Navigating YourSalon

Welcome! This guide gives you a quick tour of the main features so you can find everything you need quickly.

The Dashboard

Your dashboard is the first thing you see after signing in. It shows:

• Next appointment: A prominent card showing your upcoming visit with date, time, groomer, and pet.
• Quick actions: One-click buttons for "Book Now", "Message Salon", and "My Pets".
• Recent activity: Your latest bookings, invoice notifications, and messages.
• Pet status: If a pet is currently at the salon, you'll see a real-time status card.

Navigation Menu

The main navigation bar (top on desktop, bottom on mobile) includes:

• Home: Your dashboard with quick actions and upcoming appointments.
• Book: Start a new booking or join the waitlist.
• Appointments: View all upcoming and past appointments, including recurring series.
• My Pets: Manage pet profiles, vaccinations, and grooming history.
• Messages: Chat directly with salon staff.
• Account: Profile settings, billing, notifications, and help.

Booking Flow

The booking wizard guides you through 6 simple steps: Select Pets → Choose Services → Pick Groomer → Schedule Time → Review → Confirm. You can go back to any step at any time. See our detailed How to Book guide.

Help & Support

Look for the purple ? button in the bottom-right corner of any page. Click it to open the contextual help drawer, which shows articles relevant to the page you're on — plus a search bar to find anything else.

Mobile Experience

The app is fully responsive and works beautifully on phones and tablets. The navigation moves to the bottom of the screen for thumb-friendly access. All features available on desktop are also available on mobile.

Tip: Add the app to your home screen for an app-like experience! On iOS, tap the Share button and select "Add to Home Screen". On Android, tap the three-dot menu and select "Add to Home Screen".
