Waitlist & Walk-In Bookings

Can't find an available slot at your preferred time? No problem — we offer a waitlist system so you can be first in line when a cancellation opens up. Walk-in availability is also supported for when you need a last-minute groom.

Joining the Waitlist

1. Start the normal booking process and select your pet, services, and groomer.
2. On the calendar step, if no slots match your preferred date/time, look for the "Join Waitlist" button.
3. Select the date(s) and time range you'd prefer (e.g., "Any morning slot on March 5th").
4. Click "Add to Waitlist" — no payment is taken at this point.

What Happens Next?

• If a spot opens (e.g., another client cancels), you'll receive an instant notification via SMS and push.
• You have 15 minutes to confirm the newly available slot before it's offered to the next person on the waitlist.
• Click "Confirm" in the notification to lock in the appointment. From there, the normal checkout process applies.
• If you don't respond in time, the slot goes to the next person on the waitlist. You remain on the list for future openings.

Walk-In Bookings

Some salons accept walk-in clients on a first-come, first-served basis when their schedule has gaps.

• Check the "Walk-In Available" badge on the salon's page or booking screen. If it's showing, slots are open today.
• Walk-in services may have a limited menu (e.g., Bath & Brush only) depending on available time.
• Walk-in pricing includes a real-time estimated wait time so you can decide if it works for you.

Managing Your Waitlist Entries

View and manage your active waitlist entries from Appointments > Waitlist on your dashboard. You can remove yourself from any waitlist at any time with no penalty.

Tip: The broader your preferred time range, the higher your chances of getting a spot! Selecting "Any Available Groomer" also increases your options significantly.

Troubleshooting

• Didn't get a notification when a spot opened? Check that your push notifications and SMS are enabled. Also verify your phone number is correct in your profile settings.
• Missed the 15-minute window? Don't worry — you stay on the waitlist for the next opening. To avoid missing future notifications, ensure your phone's Do Not Disturb is off during salon hours.
• Can't find the "Join Waitlist" button? It only appears when the calendar shows no available slots for your selected groomer and service. Try selecting different dates first.
• Want to remove yourself from the waitlist? Go to Appointments > Waitlist on your dashboard and click "Remove" — there's no penalty for leaving.
