Tracking Your Mobile Groomer

If your salon offers mobile grooming services, you can track your groomer's location in real-time — just like tracking a delivery driver. See exactly when they'll arrive so you can prepare your pet and your home.

How Tracking Works

1. On the day of your mobile grooming appointment, open the app and go to your Appointments page.
2. Look for the "Track Groomer" button — it becomes active when your groomer starts their route for the day.
3. Click it to see a live map showing the groomer's current location and their estimated time of arrival (ETA) at your address.

What You'll See on the Map

• Groomer icon: The real-time position of your groomer's vehicle, updated every 30 seconds.
• ETA badge: A countdown showing the estimated minutes until arrival, accounting for traffic and route.
• Route line: The planned path from the groomer's current stop to your address.
• Your pin: Your home address marker showing where the groomer is heading.

Notifications

You'll automatically receive notifications at key milestones:

• "On the way!" — When the groomer leaves their previous stop and heads to you.
• "Almost there!" — When the groomer is approximately 5 minutes away.
• "Arrived!" — When the groomer arrives at your address.
• "Service complete!" — When the grooming session is finished.

Troubleshooting

"Track Groomer" button is greyed out

The tracking feature activates only on the day of your appointment and only after the groomer begins their route. If it's still greyed out after 30 minutes past the expected start time, contact the salon directly.

Location seems inaccurate

GPS updates occur every 30 seconds, so there may be a slight delay. If the groomer appears stuck in one spot for an extended time, they may be at a longer-than-expected stop. Check your messages for any updates from the salon.

Privacy: The groomer's location is only visible to clients who have an active appointment on that day's route. Tracking data is not stored after the appointment ends.
